The Beauréal Nature Reserve

Located at the top of the mountain, this area was intended mainly for residential development. However, the Belvédère sector is now an observation site, featuring some of the most spectacular panoramas in Lanaudière. On clear days, you can see as far as Montreal as well as Mount Royal, Mont Saint-Hilaire and Mont Saint-Bruno. Since its inauguration, the Beauréal Belvédère has been exposing the beauty of the Sainte-Julienne’s landscape to the public.

In the future, the site will benefit from improvements making it even easier to enjoy the beautiful vistas.

Accessible via the McGill domain, the Belvédère offers 3 km of groomed walking trails, treetopl games for visitors of all ages and a picnic area.

The trails in this area take you to a small marsh where you walk on log paths and rocky trails that can be climbed safely.
